1978
- January 1978: I am the vine you are the
branches (John 15:5)
- February 1978: May the Lord make you
increase and abound in love to one another and to all men (1 Thess. 3:12)
- March 1978: For just as the body is one and
has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body,
so it is with Christ (1 Cor 12:12)
- April 1978: So always treat others as you would like them
to treat you; that is the meaning of the Law and the Prophets. (Matt 7:12)
- May 1978: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate
you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you. (Lk. 6:27-28)
- June 1978: Give, and there will be gifts for you: a full
measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap.
(Lk. 6:38)
- July 1978: If anyone wants to be a follower of mine, let
him renounce himself and take up his cross every day and follow me. (Luke 9:23)
- August 1978: Not my will, but thine be done. (Luke 22:42)
- September 1978: Whoever is faithful in small things is
faithful also in great. (Luke 16:10)
- October 1978: If anyone comes to me and does not hate his
own father and mother and wife and children, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be my
disciple. (Luke 14:26)
- November 1978: The Father will give you anything you ask
in my name. (John 15:16)
- December 1978: Watch therefore, for you do not know on
what day your Lord is coming.
